As reported by Trusted Reviews it certainly gives Roku a fresh advantage over the Apple TV and Google Chromecast, which continue to omit support for Amazon Prime Instant Video. Because of this Amazon recently took the decision to stop selling both the Apple TV and Google Chromecast. “It’s important that the streaming media players we sell interact well with Prime Video in order to avoid customer confusion,” said Amazon, before adding that “Roku, Xbox, PlayStation and Fire TV are excellent choices.”
The next update we hope to receive from Roku will be when the 4K-ready Roku 4 will be available here in the UK!
